After 47 years maritime experience as ship master, port pilot and maritime consultant. I am now applying that experience in support of Mercy Ships to explain and describe the services provided by the charity, its history and evolution, how the organisation works and the diverse ways that you can support and even participate if you wish to.

In addition I present on a number of other maritime subjects - The story behind the 2021 grounding of the Ultra Large container ship Ever Given in the Suez Canal. Also an insight into the world of ship pilotage internationally and its importance to global maritime trade.
