Testimonials

"Some people walk into a conversation and change the pace. Richard Etienne does exactly that but with stillness, insight, and presence. What struck me most in working with Richard was not just his depth of thinking, but the generosity behind it. He doesn’t speak to impress. He speaks to elevate. To clarify. To make space for others to reflect and grow.
In a profession that often rewards volume, Richard reminds us that substance will always matter more. His ability to advocate for quieter voices, without ever diminishing their power, is both rare and necessary. He’s not just rethinking how we communicate, he’s reshaping how we listen, lead, and make room for difference. And that makes him an asset to any organisation, audience, or team fortunate enough to engage with him."

Working with Richard on our recent session on introverts in the workplace was such a great experience. I received a recommendation from a colleague and I’m so glad I followed up. I explained what I was looking for and Richard fully understood the assignment. His approach and communication style really aligned with our values and our people. Richard built a rapport with participants from that start and put them at ease, which meant they were fully engaged and contributing throughout the session. It can be difficult to get that kind of engagement in a virtual setting but it just goes to show how interested people were in what Richard had to say.
The feedback we received from colleagues following the session was so positive that we’ve asked Richard to come back. We’re working on getting some more time in to take a deeper dive into personal branding.
I cannot recommend Richard enough.

Richard is an inspiration as a storyteller, film-maker, and someone who is leading valuable and pioneering work on cognitive inclusion at work through The Introvert Space. I interviewed him on the 'Speak to the Human' podcast, and he is a brilliant guest - thought-provoking and thoughtful, with a genuine passion for telling the stories of other people. His work with heads of state and as the official videographer for the UK Prime Minister is truly inspiring. Conversations with Richard open up valuable perspectives, and I'd certainly recommend him as a contributor, speaker, for his work through The Introvert Space, or just someone great to connect with!

Richard was one of 5 speakers at London Unfiltered, a storytelling event which I hosted in London.
Richard is a wonderfully calm presenter! His relaxed demeanour together with his touching personal story was a great fit for the event, and connected beautifully with our audience.
His story is a reminder that whatever happens in life, "You'll be fine" - and his message is one which everybody will remember!

I am pleased to provide a professional recommendation for Richard Etienne. He recently delivered an exceptional webinar to over 2,200 alumni on the complex interplay between nature and nurture in shaping personality traits and their subsequent impact on behavior in both personal and professional realms. Richard's presentation was meticulously planned, executed, and engaging for a diverse audience. His depth of knowledge and enthusiasm for the subject matter were evident throughout the session, capturing the audience's attention and sparking lively discussions.
The feedback from the alumni was overwhelmingly positive, highlighting Richard's ability to connect with the audience and convey information in a manner that was both informative and relatable. His professional demeanor and ability to engage with such a large group were particularly noted.

Richard delivered an inspirational talk for our students about his career journey as an introverted individual and how to become more confident and self-assured in developing a strong personal brand. This received positive feedback from students and following the success of this event, we scheduled a workshop with Richard, tailored to introverted individuals in order to support them in considering the value of personality diversity, what their strengths are as introverts, and how to utilise these for professional growth. Students were provided with techniques for communicating confidently and being successful in the workplace, including within high-pressure situations. This was a lovely event which clearly provided something unique for more introverted students who felt comfortable during the session to speak up and share their ideas. Richard has a really engaging and also gentle approach in his delivery style, which puts people at ease. He does not pressure people in speaking up, and therefore naturally they do of their own accord. It has been a pleasure working with Richard so far, I really do think he is providing support where there is a need for this which is not being addressed by many other people. The fact that Richard's focus is about the positives of being introverted and how one can build on this and develop confidence without feeling the need to change who they are is incredibly important.
Those in attendance will learn how to nurture their personal and professional career growth, including how to celebrate their successes and what it means to cross-collaborate with confidence and purpose
