Scott Linfoot

Scott Linfoot is an experienced technology leader and founder of Tekh, with a career spanning more than two decades in AI, data science, and secure systems delivery. He has served as CTO and Head of R&D, leading high-impact projects across government, law enforcement, and industry. Scott’s expertise covers deep learning, knowledge graphs, human-in-the-loop systems, and audio transcription, with a strong focus on AI ethics, safety, and explainability.
He combines technical excellence with clear, engaging communication, making complex topics accessible to diverse audiences. His project portfolio includes AI deployments in highly regulated environments, advanced analytics for environmental and policy decision-making, and innovative approaches to deepfake attribution and detection.
Scott also has a strong academic foundation, holding over 20 years of academic experience that includes delivering university-level training and collaborating with research institutions in the UK and internationally.
